This is an exciting time for all of us.  Some of you have heard the following news and for some of you this will be news. We have an opportunity to purchase additional acreage adjoining Westwood's property.  You can help accomplish this exciting 'next step' by attending our 'Spring Hill Country Ball' (May 15) and even sponsor a table & bring your friends!

Four years ago Westwood Ministries transitioned to Kerrville, Texas due to growth and the need for more facilities, better locale, nearness to airport and several other criteria.  The move has been blessed by God in that His ministry of Westwood has grown ten fold!  We have moved from a staff of two to a staff of seventeen.  We have increased our capability of housing one family at a time to sixteen families at once.  Our contributions and budget have grown annually. We have still only scratched the surface of what God has in store for us!

2003 Christmas Gala—It was a celebration of Christmas as over 250 'Family of Westwood' gathered to enjoy an evening of eating, visiting and silent auction.  The 'Fifties Country Christmas' was a fun-filled evening with a powerful purpose.  The season of giving was evident as supporters enjoyed the silent auction and exceeded the evenings goal of $30,000 by raising almost $35,000!  All the proceeds go to helping Westwood finish the budget year strong and enabled the ministry budget start the new year of 2004 with strength and stability.  Thanks to all who made it a great evening!  Big thanks to all who cooked, cast for the 'living nativity', helped with buggy rides & parking! See you next year in December!

Belize Spring Trip—In March a team of 6 men from Westwood traveled to Belize, C.A. on a ministry trip to Christian leadership of that country.  While there, the team conducted a "Heart of a Warrior" retreat near Belmopan, spoke in churches in Dangriga, and visited pastors and churches is several cities.  God blessed in a mighty way and the lives of men were dramatically changed!  The return trip will be this fall in November.  If you would like to be a part of this Team let us know.  God is doing a great work in Belize.  Pray for the Menonite people of Belize. Revival is starting in their communities!
