HEART TO HEART
By Dave Gentry
March 2007
Dear
Friends,
I pray that this note
finds all well with you. Spring is my favorite time of year--a time of
promise and new life. I think it exists so that we are reminded, even by
the rhythms of life, that God loves to bring restoration and new life.
Even after a “winter” of inclement weather, God has what it takes to
restore and bring His creation to life. I pray that you will allow Him to
bring restoration and renewal into your life in whatever areas that you
have need for healing. Christ promised this restoration in Revelation
21:5 when he exclaimed, “Behold, I make all things new!”
Our passion at Westwood
Ministries is to proclaim this promise in the lives of God’s servants. No
matter the wreck or ruin that leaders find their lives in, God is fully
capable and willing to make their lives brand new. Our mission is to be
instruments in this aspect of God’s passion and nature. He loves each of
His creation and “in as much as we have done it to the least of these, we
have done it to Him.” Our heart’s desire is to be used of God to bring
restoration and new life to each of His servant-leaders. This is kingdom
ministry in its truest form. To join the heart and activity of God on
mission is an exciting adventure. Isaiah 61 emphatically states that He
“came to set the captive free.” The Christian leader who is burned out
and broken is captive in this earth-war to the enemy. We stand and battle
in the gap to free these wounded servants. Thanks for standing shoulder
to shoulder with us in this cosmic battle.
I
thank God for your interest and partnership in this kingdom ministry. We
continue to see guests and clients come from all over the world for God’s
healing touch and sabbatical rest. I invite you to visit our website and
use the information there as a prayer warrior. Pray strongly for:
«
Westwood
staff and their families
«
Westwood
guests and clients
«
Development
of our new facilities
«
Monthly
budget needs to carry on the battle
«
Upcoming
retreats and events
Thanks for your friendship and prayers. I count it a privilege to be a
warrior in this battle with you!
In
His Grace,

Dave
