Need
Increasingly, Christian leaders and their
families are experiencing a need for rest and restoration from burnout,
moral failure and forced termination. Missionaries are experiencing unrealistic expectations,
financial burdens, denominational pressure and family stress leading to a
mass exodus from full-time vocational ministry. Many of these
Christian leaders have nowhere to go to rest or get help in their time of
need. |

churches to cultivate health, renewal and transformation in the kingdom of God.

Our Mission Statement
The mission of Westwood is to be used of God to help heal His "wounded
servant-leaders". Providing sabbatical rest,
training and Holy Spirit guided intervention by godly caregivers can
restore health and hope, as well as give extended years of service in
God's Kingdom work.

Westwood Ministries is a Christ-centered,
faith-based organization dedicated to meeting the needs of Christian
leaders and their families. We are a nonprofit, interdenominational
ministry, global in scope and mission. We provide support and
encouragement to Christian leaders, their families and ministries through:
- Holistic Biblical Counseling and
Mentoring
- Sabbatical Retreat and Rest
- Life and Ministry Training
Our desire is to provide a haven of rest
and renewal for God's servant-leaders. Both
preventative and healing experiences are offered. |

extension of Westwood Ministries, whose purpose is joining God in coming
alongside Christian leaders, their families and ministries, Living Hope
Retreat desires to provide that place of quiet rest for those seeking
retreat, renewal and restoration.
LHR is a Christian
retreat facility that caters to Christian leaders, their families and
ministries. Located on 80 beautiful acres quietly nestled along the banks
of Henderson Branch Creek, LHR is still less than 10 minutes from
Kerrville, Texas. The beauty of this hill country retreat is enhanced by
the wild life that roam the area and the soothing sound of silence. The
retreat features modern facilities couched in an old west ranch setting.
LHR is perfect for those private getaways, church retreats, family
reunions or conferences.

Retreat Center for lengths of time tailor-made to meet their individual
needs. While on campus you can take advantage of rest, counseling
and life/ministry training. All ministries and services of
Westwood are offered on a "suggested minimum donation"
basis.
